I am a twenty-something
with 2 precious baby boys, a sweet, loving mate, and a 3rd little
one on the way, due in April 2011.
My husband Steve and I met in high school & we tied the knot in 2004
at the ripe old ages
of 19 & 20. We have been madly in love ever since!
Our first born son Noah, was born in January 2008 and our precious little
Oliver joined our
brood in September 2009. They are just 19 months apart and
we love it! They are so sweet together.
They love to smile and cuddle. Steve
and I love children and hope to have a couple more before
we hang up our
boots. In fact, our 3rd bundle of love should be joining us in the spring of
2011!
That will make Oliver and this one 19 months apart too. We all really enjoy spending time together
as a family, especially
Saturday
mornings when all 4 of us are snuggled into our teeny little bed.
Since having my little guy Noah, I have been blessed with the ability to be
a stay at home mom.
I wouldn't trade it for the world. I also keep an eye on a baby girl full
time, so our house is
full of fun! I love my days that
are full of kisses, hugs, and giggles
(nevermind all the cleaning,
laundry,
cooking and diaper changing!).
I can never hear enough baby laughs,
oh how
it warms my heart!
Other than being a mom, I am a "retired" teacher. I enjoy home projects &
decorating,
sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading,
tennis, and photography
(www.heatherekstromphotography.com).
I also love to spend time with my
wonderful husband,
who has been my best friend for 10 years now. We like to travel,
hike, play tennis, and gaze
longingly into each others eyes (haha!). We really enjoy our weekly night
out together these days.
My 3 guys are the greatest blessings of my life. God has given me so much
more
than I deserve and I am so thankful for his grace! What a wonderful God
we have.
Enjoy our site and stick around to watch us grow!
Some of my FAVS:
Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine
heart.
-Psalms 37:4
How far that little candle throws it's beams! So shines a good deed in a
naughty world.
- W. Shakespeare
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them
anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind
anyway.
If you are successful you will win some false friends and true enemies;
succeed anyway.
If you are honest people may cheat you; be honest anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build
anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world
the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the end, it is between you and God; it was never between you and
them anyway.
-Mother Teresa
Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things
shall be added unto you.
-Matthew 6:33
